It's all swings and roundabouts.
For instance, a BBQ poolside outdoes a garden party, unless Michael Barrymore turns up.
Where as an illuminati nuns and vicars tea cake garden party with Anne Diamond and Wincey Willis is great, until both Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan turn up.
Don't ask.

In my experience, you drink Stella in one and Pimms cocktails in the other. Both usually end up messy but the level of violence used in the former is much, much worse.

A garden party doesn’t have a bbq or involve any cooking of food just sandwiches & finger food. And often tea instead of alcohol
I don’t believe anyone in the UK had a proper bbq in their garden 25 years ago before Neighbours appeared on tv.

What you do in your spare time is your own business. Now let's try to bring the conversation back to BBQs.
